..that I have a blog.
I really am sorry about the extreme inadequacy of my posts.
Everything is just so tiring, more or less the moment I come home my brain just cools off and wants to shut down. But sadly I have to keep it going to study..study study study.
Of course I have the option of studying less, but I'm having a hard time learning biology, even the basics, mainly because I'm trying to build my foundation while trying to keep up with the more advanced side of it, which is draining me.
Fried rice noodles today, it wasn't too bad. To try a bento box, pho and..something else soon.
REMINDER, use cacao green vouchers.
Also photo update I swear will come by the end of this week :)

Not targeting anyone in particular
But whoa now. I'm actually failing to comprehend how many people thought uni would be easier than Year 12.
How does that make sense?
Your knowledge, skills, life experience do not, I repeat, do not, expand unless you are challenged.
Instead, what happens is that we learn to accept and become accustomed to each advancement in the stages of our lives (or in particular, our education, since that is more relevant to what I am referring to).
You don't finish high school so you can have an easy time at uni. You're a poor fool for ever thinking that, but maybe that's how some people choose to think. And so be it. Keep in mind, too much naivety is never good.
Also I really wouldn't be this flabbergasted if it were just a few people that thought this, but when I see 10+ in the past few days, I am but compelled to share my thoughts.
Dear readers, I end with this statement, straight from the wisdom of yours truly (hahaha), nothing in life becomes easier, that would be regression.
Love Lisa.
PS. do not get technical with my last statement *glares*, because what we learn/do in the past will seem easier to us in the present but you know that's not what I mean. Fin.

Coughing up a lung
I swear my cough is slowly coming back. And the coughing leads to a very nauseous feeling.
I'm struggling to comprehend what my parents want from me. They want me to take responsibility, start doing more, yet I'm so restricted that I don't even have the chance to prove anything.
Being berated every second step I take...what could be more de-motivational?
So my palate hurts, ulcer perhaps? Why oh why me. Should do more homework but I'm so tired and my wrist is cramping from writing notes and incorrectly holding my pen (something I find impossible to change).
Also, I know this is absolutely hypocritical of me to say but why is it that people are so inclined to make terrible assumptions. It really is annoying, isn't it? But I'm not talking about trivial matters, oh actually, what may seem insignificant to you and incomprehensible...well just keep an open mind, you really have no idea of someone's circumstances or the reasons behind what they do and say. I'm tempted to quote Atticus Finch and Sleary (Hard Times)..ahaha clearly all my years of essay writing have had a resounding impact upon me.
Love Lisa.
PS. I know I haven't posted any photos in a while. I think the focussing motor on my 18-55mm is broken & I lost a lens cap at some point in time without me realising sigh.

Coughing my way to a toned abdominal
Honestly.
Few workouts make my abs this sore, but I guess coughing fits 24/7 do just fine.

I can't believe
that some of the textbooks and course notes that I've just bought will only be used for one semester?!
Biology Textbook $80 & Lab workbook $26
Chem textbooks $130
EDDA textbook $80
Business law materials $90
Assignment books $16
Stationary $40
Cover slips & slides $8
Lab coat & glasses $18
So I'm approximating about $500? Sigh.
'MELBURNIANS overwhelmingly believe city buskers are doing a great job - they are less enamoured about the proliferation of fundraising in the city.' I couldn't agree more.
The Age
Learn by observation. Take initiative to find out the answer/methods yourself. I think I've decrypted the fundamentals of Lisa's mental psyche.
Did I just refer to myself in third person & do you hate me for it? Good.
From inconspicuous fading into obscurity. Back to homework babydolls.

So I'm not going to lie
That thing where I can't physically cry because my tear ducts have stopped working. Yeah it's happening a little bit.
Learn to take responsibility, for fuck's sake stop blaming me for everything that goes wrong. How is it that I try so hard and always end up falling short?
Yeah you're older than me, more life experience blah blah, I get it. But I'm 18, tired and I have been for a while.
I wonder to what extent other's can understand the reasons behind what I say and do. I don't expect them too, I barely understand myself. But whenever I stray from doing what my mind tells me, the ramifications tear me apart, from the inside out.
On a side note, I get this feeling that my current sickness was self inflicted. Well not by choice, but I didn't do anything to help it either.
Uni's draining me. Perhaps I'll grow to love it but the start hasn't been great.
I used to love making new friends. I guess in a sense I still do, yet I no longer have the capacity...something along those lines.
Sorry that there's nothing positive to report :(
