Collective Haul & Fresh Prince *pic heavy post*

First off, today has kicked off to a most tiring start. Cleaned the fish tank, washed the dishes, cleaned my room (but I didn't do that great of a job ha).

Also I have a new obsession,  ebay, selling on ebay, browsing ebay, looking at ebay from a statistical point of view. Oh how I become fixated on these things, the last time I was truly taken by the ebay craze was in 2008.

Sorry these aren't the best photos, especially the second as I didn't have batteries for my SB600 so I had to use the pop up flash (I know I've become so snobbish when it comes to lighting). The second and third picture were all taken after about a week's wear and tear, hence the scraggly edges.


Collective Nail Polish Haul, so within a few months I've doubled the number of nail polishes I own.
Some of these I haven't even used yet, so I'll post up swatches and more in depth reviews when I do.









This is the Extreme III SD card and eneloop rechargeable batteries I bought for my camera/flash for the Oaktree gala last month. The batteries came in the 5th anniversary glitter pack, scoree, they are so pretty!
Albeit both were fairly expensive, total of $70ish.

Using a weekly planner Sophie got me year ago, unfortunately, but not to my surprise, I have been unable to keep up with my intended schedule.



Started watching the Fresh Prince from the very beginning and I am in looove. There have been tears in my eyes as I try to control my laughter at 3am. No idea why I didn't watch this earlier. I suppose I didn't have the series, and every time I watched it with Daniel, I was incredibly tired and hence did not stay awake long enough to enjoy it. But now I possess Daniel's external hard drive so that's just another distraction from study :P

Food Updates, Pizza, Father's Day + Dinner

In chronological order:

07/08/2011 - The night mum made me make pizza, one thing I'm not too bad at. Albeit my toppings are probably far from authentic but who cares if it tastes good.




Father's Day Brunch ft. Big Breakfast, Salmon Roll, Pear Pancakes. Those pancakes were the death of me, so sickly sweet that the aftermath lasted til 4pm.





Dinner with Daniel last week @ Margo's ft. a beef burger and chicken parma. <3

Spring

Hello readers, if there are any of you left.


Not too much has been happening in my life.
Currently on a much needed uni mid semester break. And lucky us it's 2 weeks off weoo. Now all I have to do is make the most of it...
Friday night I spent with Daniel, it was great going out at night for once, I hadn't done that in a very very long time.
 The unfortunate discovery I made as I wrote a list of all the work to catch up on and assignments due in the near future is right after the break is non stop work.
In fact to even stay on top of things I should be doing work every day in the break. Mmm I'm highly lackin gthe motivation recently.

The weather was crazy warm today, 29degrees and sunny. But as the evening wore on, a storm slowly rolled in. Thunder, lighting, the whole package. Weather is apparently shit tomorrow.

Also I hope that sometime this week, maybe even tomorrow, I will be able to go upgrade my phone plan and get my Samsung Galaxy SII ehehe.
I do wonder why I ever wanted an iPhone, I suppose I was caught up in the hype just like everyone else. Although I never really wanted an iPhone 4, I only wanted the iPhone 5 because it will be new ahaha.
Luckily I got over that because the Galaxy is a much better phone than the iPhone 4 and it's cheaper, go figure.

However this leads me onto my next dilemma, I'm scared that with a new phone I will have ZERO concentration on studying because when I buy new technology I am obsessed for it for an indefinite period of time. I will carry it everywhere, constantly polish and clean it, and practically cuddle it to sleep. Oh yes.

Speaking of study, let's try to get some in now.

Education & My Day *video re-embedded*

Yes yes yes I can't agree more with Sir Ken.

My day consisted of waking up early to do work, then somehow wasting 2 hours stressing about the work I need to catch up on. Then posted some items, handed in my physics assignment (damn that felt good just getting rid of it) and then a 2.5hour long physics prac.

Argonaut Octopus

So since Friday I've just been working on the same assignment, using various methods to work out questions which I barely understand.
Well, I suppose it's all making a little more sense now.
In particular a question relating to buoyancy and the Argonaut octopus has been a bitch.



Also I swear my nose isn't blocked any more so why can't I taste some foods :S
Very odd, I would like to enjoy my food thankyou. Also I definitely think panadol is a magical cure for all ailments, headaches, stomach pains, inability to get to sleep...ha.

9/11

I've read too many stories and too many documentaries over the weekend on 9/11. Which led to copious amounts of crying, it's taken 10 years but I finally comprehend the sheer enormity of that day just a little more. I can still remember waking up for school and then walking past my parents bedroom, and both of them were awake, eyes locked on the tv, my mum look devastated. As she told me what had happened, I felt sad but that was the extent to which my young 9 year old brain could process the event.

The Falling Man is the most poignant documentary on 9/11 that I've watched.

I've spent literally the whole day trying to do my physics assignment, waste of time? Definitely. It's only worth about 5% sigh, I don't know what else to do though.

I know it's been much too long since I wrote a proper post with pictures and all. And I don't have time to break this trend just yet, currently trying to study for a calc mid sem, it might only be worth 15% but who knows how well or terribly I might go when it comes to the exam!
