I have to say I didn't bounce flash it quite right in this example, but its the best example comparison I have right now.
But the softness and more realistic colours are making me love this speedlight more and more.
Now I need a diffuser.

Always excluded from family decisions.
While I'm gone BAM, we purchase a new TV and sound system.
It's a Samsung LED and not sure what the rest is since it isn't in stock until the end of the month.
Oh it's only a 40", but still if anyone's seen the distance between the wall and my couch, even 40 inches seems huge.

Damn when is my delivery from Urban Outfitters going to comeeee D; From the tracking number it shipped out on the 18th..it's been 10 days come onnn, last time it took exactly a week, but I guess it wasn't during Christmas.

Modern Family (which I am really starting to get into) with Daniel :) and watching him build the Gundam, pretty epic seeing it all come together.

Came home and had jiao zi for lunch :)

It was sometime during exams that I finally decided to succumb to the braided fringe hairstyle. It was because my fringe started getting to an odd length where it was difficult to pit up and annoying to have down during exams.
Since I first figured out how to do it, I've gotten slightly better at doing it without a mirror, but still slight struggles:

Boxing Day

New glasses.


Chadstone @ 7.30am, was meant to get there at 6, but of course no one in my family was awake but me, of course. Sigh.
Met up with Daniel for a while :) and bought him a shirt that he had previously picked out :D weoo finally a 'christmas' present, if it can be considered that on Boxing day haha.
Saw Kevin & Anthony..well didn't recognise them until they were about 2m away from me.
Bought wedge heeled strappy boots (my description sounds excessive), I'll take a photo some day.
Michael bought a Samsonite cosmolite suitcase, originally 700, and 40% off that :)
Mum bought 2 pairs of bathers.
Ate maccas.
Umm then there was some aimless wandering, eventually bought some earrings and rings at Diva for a total of $10.
There was me sitting outside Myer on the floor for about half an hour, being stared at because i was sitting next too a luggage case, people probably thought i was some fob using it as my shopping trolley. (which in a sense it did serve as that purpose)
Then went to Cath's before dinner to pick up the delivery ;D and get some 90210 off her.

Back to sleep.

Ate a meatball sub.
Wandered Myer, Coles.
Drove to Camberwell Safeway. Bought a pork leg piece.
Home.
Asian feast at home. Good peking duck.

Wednesday, watching Modern Family with Daniel :) but I must admit I think I asleep for more time than I was awake D; Oops.
Now I really want a new computer chair, one that leans haha D;
But also received my birthday present from him <3 (Thankyou, I love you!) Today, fruitless hours spent looking for a present =.= Went Maccas > Oporto > Nandos mmm
Bought La Perla perfume, it's quite nice :)
then Narnia and home time. Sigh.

At work again, I'm so tired.
Okay so I decided to get Michael to drive me to school today so I could collect my lock and clean out my lockers.
But of course, last day of school is today yet they've already cut my lock off and thrown out whatever was in my locker.
Thanks school, after everything I've done for you.

According to Michael 'they probably thought i had planted a bomb in there' LOL my ultimate motive, to blow up the school...psh no, like I would waste that much effort on them haha :P

So I'm at work again, cept this time when I got here, I struggled to find the path to the back entrance haha.

Babushka Dolls

Well this is how it began, general wandering around collins/elizabeth st with Daniel.
Saw this awesome little shop in..okay I forgot where we were but it sold babushka dolls and christmas decorations.
We visited the upstairs section of the shop and on our way back down, about halfway down the staircase I saw this creepy with doll thing in the corner of the wall and i was like 'oh my god...' and I guess tried to back away, but in doing so I almsot fell down the stairs..backwards :|
But Daniel saved me ;) ahah, but literally he did, I tried to hold onto some display for support but the glass just slid out, therefore if Daniel didn't save me not only would I have maybe broken some bones and had a concussion, but I would have pulled glass/a variety of babushka dolls crashing down onto me.
That was too much of a near accident for my liking hahaha.

Just happened to see Roger outside ANZ, then Jenny came (or was always in ANZ?)
Anyhow, we had a fairly long short chat (ahah) cept we were standing in the paths of people not only walking in both directions but in perpendicular directions too.

Subway for lunch mmm :)
Then walked to QV and did not end up seeing any dresses D;
But we did find Jenny and Roger at Romanos Cafe, we sat there for 2 hours I reckon.
And the conversation led from candles to club x? LOL I love how conversations flow :)
Then Pauline came for a bit and we all parted ways, and yum Harajuku Crepes!

Just discovered that the name 'babushka' is actually incorrect but just has common use now, they're actually called Matryoshka Dolls :)

Old Friends

Saw Chloe yesterday morning, and I swear it feels like a lifetime since I've seen her, in reality, she was in our chinese school class at the start of the year.
We just talked about everything and everything, pretty much non stop, it was nice :)

And then Daniel, weoo, I think I'm beginning to realise why I used to watch That 70s Show all the time :DD

I had an insane cramp in my calf yesterday, I don't think I've had such a bad muscle cramp in my life, it faded fast (considering I wanted to cut my lef off it hurt so much) but it was slightly stiff and painful to walk for the rest of the day.

Currently working at fam friends real estate. Very quiet and I am very tired, do you think they would care if I napped? Haha I kid. Kinda.
I just want to lie down, because my consistent coughing has actually given me lower back pains, or am I completely misdiagnosing the source? Who knows, it's a lot better today anyhow.

Reminder to self;

-buy christmas presents/christmas cards
-look into getting a debit card
-clean my room (yet again)
-print/email photos for teachers
-put up christmas tree (shit I've left it so late this year)
-figure out how to clean the inside of the viewfinder of my d60

-cut/reshape fringe
-gym?
-collect lock and fully clean out locker (i think i still have a box of tissues in there and perhaps a dictionary?)
-did I ever sell any books at the school book sale?

Next year decided at 7.00am

Did better than I expected, which is new, I usually can predict fairly accurately how I'll go.
But phew now that's one thing off my shoulder, now to definitely pick my first preference.
I think I know :)

The Good and The Bad

Judgement Day come the 13th.
I don't remember who recently reminded me about results, and how they keep thinking about it when they have a spare moment.
But it's starting to happen to me now, but I manage to keep my thoughts occupied on other things :P

A couple of things I want right now:
1. A cupcake
2. Speedlight SB-600 + Lightsphere diffuser
3. Instax Mini 7S Instant Camera

And how nice it is to spend all night with the person you love the more than anything in the whole wide world :P

I have a nasty cough right now, and it always gets worse when I'm about to fall asleep, which is just about the most annoying thing that could happen.

Finished A Clockwork Orange a day or two ago. Emily (I think it was Emily) was right, it is a good read :)

Once again I remember why I've always lived with such great underlying guilt. Guilt that surfaces every now and then.
But it never leaves me.

You never get anywhere yourself when you try to please everyone huh.

Freudian concepts still blow my mind and will probably continue to do so for the rest of my life.

Schoolies & I have also become a housewife

So much to tell, but I've already told these stories multiple times, I wish I just typed it when it happened so I could remember it all in detail ahahha

Overall, sunny first 2 days, best beaching day on the tuesday, the rest of the time were lazy afternoons and out at night.
Red frog people are amazing.
So many mo's in movember D:
Too much walking because we lived kinda far from town.
But more on that later (if I ever remember).

I have washed clothes, cleaned, vacuumed, done the dishes, and all by choice. What is happening to me... :|
