And so it goes

Saw Captain America on Thursday.

Some photos I've been meaning to upload:

First week of uni has passed, just like that. Oh I'm not going to lie it was slow and soul crushing but hey, I complain about things that other people don't see as vaguely negative.
I have never been quick to judge, done anything particularly outrageous, broken any one's trust or achieved anything great.
I always thought that if I lived without hurting anyone or anything, and always gave others the benefit of the doubt, even when they didn't deserve it, it would mean I would be treated the same way. So I wait and I wait for that day but nothing. Here I am, almost a year has passed since I officially became an 'adult' and nothing has changed. I am neither more or less respected, it's like I've set myself up for complete disappointment.
From where I'm standing, it looks like I've exacerbated my own life.

Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows + timetable woes

I suppose for the most part my timetable isn't all that bad, except for my Wednesdays...5 consecutive hours? Oh god. But what really puts a damper on it all is that I'm so used to having a synced timetable with Daniel, we'd have lunch together almost every weekday, and old habits die hard.

Today we watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Although the ending is just too corny for me, plus they look exactly the same age but just dressed middled aged and have kids so that's all so wrong, but I suppose it is nice to end on a happy note.

Please don't tell me it's real

I dread going back to uni worse than I have ever dreaded going back to school or anything similar.
It's not a good feeling.

Worst Luck: USPS

How could this happen to me, WHY ME GOD, WHAT HAVE I DONE?!
So I ordered Daniel's anniversary gift about 2 weeks ago off a online shop in the US (yes its a legit shop for sure).
I even paid extra for express shipping in the hopes that I would be able to give the gift on time, whilst being able to have full tracking of its progress.
Not only did that not happen, but it has more or less become lost in transit.
No one knows where it is. Auspost says it hasn't arrived in Australia and USPS says they don't have any more info other than the fact that it left the US on the 8th of july.

On top of that apparently it had a guarantee delivery date of the 13th of July so WTF IS HAPPENING.
Seriously this angers me, I have ordered over 20 things in the past few months from various countries in the world (via ebay) and they have been sent to me via the cheapest possible delivery option and every single item has arrived.
But the one time I pay to get the best shipping and not only that it's by far the most expensive thing I've bought in many months, so why did it have to go missing...why?

I pray that it will turn up eventually, perhaps in some random country maybe Austria because the sender couldn't spell... But I would just like to know where it is!

Why would you do this to me world,
Love Lisa.

Always and Forever

One year anniversary on Friday and the past few days have been the happiest I have ever felt.
Amigos on Thursday night, had a damn good chilli con carne burrito, grocery shopping. Cracking open fresh one size fits all slippers.
Watching David Letterman and enjoying the ice slide.
Laughing like crazy because everything late at night is ridiculously funny.
Grilling popcorn instead of microwaving it, but still eating it along with way too much salt.
Keeping the heating between 25 - 28 degrees.
Grocery shopping, eating random junk food including instant ramen, bbq ribs chips, canned soup, curly wurlys and the most chocolately artery clogging kitkats ever made.
Having you take care of me as my stomach rejects the intake of alcohol after eating a whole pack of coles brand chicken nuggets then attempting to finish a can of chicken and corn soup.
The shower flooding, having businessmen stare at us, watching Australian boxing and falling asleep more relaxed than I have ever felt.

I love you Daniel, I'm so relieved that I have someone to rely on and that will always be there for me.
I just wish I could change things and know for sure that they would be better.

I have the most amazing boyfriend, I am so lucky.

Ebay oh ebay

I can't stop buying 0.99 items on ebay. Sure its only 0.99 and shipping is free but do I really need some of the things I buy? Only time will tell.

So my day consisted of this:
Drive mum to camberwell
Drive mum to box hill
Drive mum home
Eat lunch
Check PO Box
Coffee with Em and Gemma
Home

Also, is there a word for having unnecessary panic attacks or assuming the worst before anything even happens?
Because I really need to learn how to keep my crazy at bay.

Nail Art Supplies and Other (pic heavy)

Hello blog readers,
I have been irrationally emotional as of late, everything has been upsetting me incredibly or annoying me beyond belief. So I apologise anyone caught in the midst of all of this.
I think this is me before we went out to celebrate Sylvia's birthday:

Yeah my makeup was smudged before I even left the house, lovely.

A week or so ago I received:

These weren't the only parcels I received in recent times.

Squee was I excited or what! I love getting mail.
Bows

Microbeads

Rhinestones

Nail/nail art glue

Dotting tools

Practise wheel (don't mind my dabblings on the wheel, I just had an urge to paint them)

Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cottage Cheese

All these except for the beads were purchased on eBay, all purchases were around $1-2 (almost all of these were with free shipping, I don't understand how ebay sellers could profit from this, doesn't international shipping even for a letter cost more than a dollar?)
I don't remember the sellers but if anyone wants to know I can find out for you.

Alright I'm not going to lie, I have made about 5 more purchases since I received the above, so I'm waiting on them now.
I guess altogether I haven't spent more than $25 or so on nail supplies including my most recent purchases. Which I think is pretty good :D

Soo, I will indeed be doing a complete nail look with the rhinestones, bows and beads within the next week. I'll be sure to document how it goes.

Also coming soon, full review on the BC-102 I am seriously in love with these:

Princess Mimi/Bambi Sesame Greys are currently on their way to me now too weoo ;D

Here is the crack/tear in my nail, it's not all that noticeable in the photo, nor do I know why you would want to see what it looks like.
Just my luck after growing my nails for 2.5weeks.

Galahs (or some other type of bird) on the street

Demolition outside where we learn jap :O

Dentist and a torn nail

My GEO Perfect Chocolate BC-102 lenses arrived a few days ago.
To give a timeline of events:
3rd May - Paid via paypal
Mid to end of May - the batch closed
26th June - Batch #24 arrived
28th June - My lenses were posted
3rd July - Lenses received in perfect condition and the anti-fake geo sticker has been verified online.

I purchased them from Geosupplier, yes there is a lack of up-to-date, consistent updates and replies to emails. You need patience, a lot of it. So if you don't want to wait possibly 2months+ (and not hear any/many updates) then consider spending about $5-10 more and purchase from a different website.

I'll have some photos up soon, they're completely natural looking. I love love looove them.

Today I went to the dentist, for a regular checkup/clean. Our normal dentist, Dr Peace has moved interstate (or overseas, I'm not sure which) so we went with the next available dentist. Dr Ting, she was pretty young, in her mid to late twenties at most. But she did a good job and wasn't rough like some of the dentists many years ago that left my gums bloody and teeth not thoroughly clean. As per usual I was told my brushing was fine but I needed to floss more. Alright, mission to floss daily instead of skipping days!

Not all that long ago my left thumb nail had a tiny split in it around half way down my nail length. It didn't seem all that bad until today I was doing something, getting out of the car and my nail must have caught onto something and it tore about half way along my nail bed, which absolutely killed.
I haven't grown out my nails in a while, I mean they're of moderate length but I like the look of them painted when the distal edge is about 5-7mm long (haha i know very precise)

**UPDATE**
I am have found a potential fix to my nails, I'll give it a few days and see if it holds before telling you a method that doesn't work.

Love Lisa.

Updates: RIP sony ericsson, nail art, sylvia's, jose's etc

So my C903, C905 I don't even remember which one it is, completely died, well actually no that's not completely true, the phone itself still turns on and picks up calls, but the screen is just completely and utterly dead.
I'll show you what initially happened:

I cannot fathom how such a thing occurs.

I was also sent 4 of my nail art purchases.
I will put pictures up sooon :)

Sylvia's birthday celebrations were on Friday night, (changed from the Saturday before that as she was not feeling all that well).
We went to Cookie where Sylvia shouted us cocktails (some strawberry vanilla one for me I forget it's exact name), and then Wild Things (free bbq, which I was immediately drawn too even though it was 10pm at night).
Sadly no photos to post.
But it was a nice catch up with Sylvia, Em, Pauline and Jenny.

Saturday night was Jose's 18th birthday party. Daniel couldn't make it on the night because he was not physically able to without being in immense pain (but he's getting better now) so I felt pretty weird going to one of his best friend's parties without him :(
It definitely didn't feel right because I'm so used to Daniel being with me wherever I go. Especially in this scenario. But I kept Pauline company.
Actually what's weirder that my mum let me out 2 nights in a row, but I guess it backfired in me not being able to go out Sunday.
I love how much control I have in my life...

Love Lisa.
