Those Russians

Meow, how adorable is it? Thanks Daniel ;D

Photoshop experimentation.

I can't help but jump to the conclusion that the trojan infecting my computer was made by Russians or a Russian speaking individual, how do I know this?
I think this explains itself:

As you can see it tried to disguise itself as a real system file.
But but there is no such thing as a system folder within system32, HENCE WE DISCOVERED THE SOURCE OF THAT BASTARD. And weeded him out good.

So this happened sometime recently. And my heart skipped a beat when I saw the blue screen of death because from past experience, recovery does not happen often, however the Inspiron 530S did me proud and survived.

I had about 7000 infected files hahaahha D:

Long story short, my computer has been saved. It's a true miracle.
Now to buy a terabyte hard drive so I can back up my computer properly.

Moving on...
Chinese Mock oral today, not too bad, could have been better but then again can't it always?

Argh

I have been ridiculously agitated and edgy for the past 12 hours.
I don't even think I slept very well and I woke up at 7am, first in that kind of relaxed content state, half a second later I remembered my chinese oral is 2 weeks away from today and I don't think I've ever felt this stressed.
Not even my old piano exams can compare, which may sound stupid but they were what I dreaded more than anything in my life.

I think I've figured it out now. I don't handle situations where I'm judged face to face very well.
Even the thought that I have 10 separate days of written exams doesn't scare me as much as one oral.
Shun my lack of people skills.

I've written 5000+ characters for just over half my oral, excessive? Perhaps. Will I write more? Most definitely.
If I don't over prepare (even if it's not helping in the long term) I'll just freak out more.

Love Lisa.

TO DO WITHIN 24HOURS:

Tension Running High

Everyone seems stressed out, and I don't just mean about school, my family in general keeps snapping every now and then.
And I was all psh, why stress and then I thought about it. 2 weeks til chinese one month til English. Shit.
Sighh, my indifference to it all is being pilfered away, bit by bit.

You know what I haven't done in a while? Watch a movie in a cinema, wait, scratch that, I haven't watched a movie in any form for a very long time.

I have done 1/3 of my spesh bound book of notes.
However, let me emphasise that it's been about 3 days since I started, so that's not much of an achievement.

Also, it's driving me insane, I can't stop analysing every photo that I know has been post processed.
Don't even start with me and say that unless you shoot in RAW format then all images from digital photography have been through post processing.
You know what I mean.
I keep noticing when someone's removed red eye but overdone it and while everyone else just comments saying what a lovely photo, all I can think is how satanic her pupils look.

Why can't I just look at photos like a normal person, why was a destined to such a cruel fate, WHY.
Jokes babe, I do melodramatic too well.

Mirror of Human Salvation

Today, I spent over 4hours on various forms of public transports.
And from my experiences today I can conclude:
1. Mykis work on 1/4 buses
2. I really need to check the bus number before getting on
3. Bus drivers can be incredibly nice
4. I should never be allowed to travel on buses alone.

Speculum Humanae Salvationis
I find things inexplicably interesting...

I want these ASAP.

Coffey's

Unexpectedly I was able to go last night.
Had some of the left over Raspberry cruisers, clearly I had forgotten how sickly sweet they got.

MINI POTATO CAKES WERE MAGICAL.
Also the cake was very naice.

I feel sorry for his carpet, and his tree that now has Zinta's beer can stuck in it.
Also his various medals, one of which I must remember to return.

and once again I'm too tired to even begin describing the rest of the night.

It was your promises alone that instigated my expectations

Array of pictures I've been meaning to post.

Argh this makes me really want to see the jelly episode of The Office. Or have I already seen it?
I can't tell if it's just been described so vividly that my imagination is merging with what I assume is a memory.

Dromana

I'm ridiculously tired but allow me to give a brief synopsis of the past 24hours.

Home -> Camberwell Station -> Beach House -> Beach -> Dromana -> Maccas -> Home.

Woke up bright and early so I could shower and have non greasy hair for the day.
Then an hour went by really fast and I was out the door.
Amazingly I didn't end up being late, however Peter and Daniel spent one hour getting to Camberwell, via various incorrect destinations/routes as per directed by the gps.

However, soon we were on our way, and made it to Dromana in a timely fashion, with a petrol stop on the way.

Okay yeah I'm actually too tired to go on further...
More whenever I can be bothered :D

PS. I know the background is out of place but I can't find anything good nor can I be bothered exerting the creative energy required to make one.
So just deal withe what was my myspace background, mmk?

Must Restrain Massive Urge...

..TO BUY HEADBANDS!

Because I know they never look that great on me, plus my head is too huge and they start hurting and getting annoying.

But ooh they're so pretty, especially the one's I saw on Sussane Mayer's blog.
Hmm let's see if I can buy some satin and make my own :)
Also, reemerging desire for body jewelry, now that I will definitely attempt to make myself, I ain't paying $150 for some metal chains.

Then of course there's the cape/cloak I've wanted since many months ago, whenever twilight came out D;
Must. Have. It.
I love clothing that come with hoods and huge-ass pockets.

(So many diy projects, how many will ever even eventuate?)

Love Lisa.

PS. I also remembered my previous plan to buy pyramid studs and stud the fucking shit out of my shorts/bags/bracelets and etc. I swear I will do that some day, even if it's just for fun.

"Fuck Digital"

Saa indie, sa vintage?
Wrong, just because you're using an analogue camera does not make every single badly exposed, out of focus and terribly composed photo any better.
Wow, this is getting out of control.
There's a distinct difference between intentional effects and someone who can't use a camera.

Sorry, had to be critical for once,
Love Lisa.

Melange

PS. After the english exam, I saw the direct beam of sunlight coming through my window...

I was compelled, lighting like that doesn't happen every day D;

Oh I realised I didn't mention why I reposted this, I made minor adjustments to the images.
If you can tell me what, you have the most amazing memory/eyes ever.

In reply to the comment, I don't remember if I had a watermark previously, but I changed something else as well.

Recap

So what has been happening thus far in the holidays?
(I can't stop using the word thus)

Went to state on Monday, then saw Daniel.

Had an english practise exam Tuesday morning. I guess it went better than expected? Just because I managed to finish 3 full essays, I can't quite vouch for the quality of writing though.
Got my Hard Times sac back, and as expected it's my worst essay yet.
She basically didn't even have any good comments on it, it was painful to read about how everything was wrong. Oh well.

Then we went down to camberwell for lunch.
I got a free boost because it was my name that day ;D
Mmm mango magic.

Went to the doctor's to get my results from the nerve conduction study. No abnormalities. Which is good and bad. Because woo at least my nerves aren't damaged but then how do I account for my loss of motor skills in my hand :S
Sighh, just fingers crossed it won't get even worse until after November 16th.

Today, State again + Daniel :DD
Tomorrow, chinese practise exam. Should sleep soon.

So I've been dead tired, I think i've woken up before 9 every day so far (I had to restrain myself from saying 'thus far') ;(
AND NOT BY CHOICE. Let me stress that. There's just been something I have to wake up for.

Love Lisa.

State

Ridiculously tired, did someone drug my nandos? I can barely keep my eyes open.

English practise exam tomorrow morning, spent a fair few hours going through notes and quotes and refreshing old knowledge on Streetcar and what should be new knowledge on Hard Times...
Hmm

Well let's see how much of 3 essays I can do in 3 hours D;
Love Lisa.

"Holidays"

Emphasis on the inverted commas.

I already started these holidays, planning to make a sweet as plan and get organised.
Instead everything has been stressing me :\
And something just before dinner reminded me of the physics sac which will undoubtedly end up as the worst sac/test result in my life. And there's no point in convincing me I did fine when I know I really didn't do enough of the sac to attain half the marks
Great.
Sigh and I know I know, kick ass in the exam and SACs don't mean shit do they? Well I would be saying that but I highly doubt my physics exam will be amazing enough to boost my sac marks.

And it's amazing, I think I have successfully fought off a cold.
Because yesterday morning, I had the tell tale signs of the first inkling of what would turn into an onslaught of sick.
With many Lemsip First Signs tablets, Strepils, wannabe Centrum multivitamins and many spoonfuls of Manuka Honey (which is deliciously sweet anyways).
Plus keeping the fluids up ;D

Because all signs of sickness have dissipated in the past 12 hours WEOO :D
Okay *touch wood, should not speak too early.

Alright so yesterday was the last day of term, which means the last day I will ever wear winter uniform because there is no way in hell I will be wearing it it on if I have the option.
And I saw Daniel after school, which was so good since it's been foreverr D;

Also, reloving my DS, and my attempt to download roms was mainly a failure, because I wanted Cooking Mama 2 & 3, but only tetris and sonic would work );

Okay I just remembered what I spent about 2 hours this morning doing, sticking my purikura in the sticker book Sylvia gave me ages ago.
And for anyone who knows me, they would know 1. I've barely ever unpeeled a single sticker photo
2. I love stickers/unpeeling stickers
(quite paradoxical huh?)
So it was quite self gratifying to lay them out in place and then have them all stuck down neatly ;D

Badminton Finals

Epically failed, because not only did I not have Sylvia as my partner, Zinta wasn't even allowed to fill in ):
And it's very difficult playing with someone when there is a huge lack of communication.
Especially since I'm always playing closer to the net and Sylvia covers the back.
Oh well, it was still worth it to play in the Finals ;D

Tomorrow, I have a nerve conduction study eep.
But my ulna nerve has always been a bit effed every now and then now that I think about it, perfect timing for the numbness/weakness/pain to rapidly worsen, right before end of year exams.

Faith's would have been awesome, the food was so good and there was so much!
Poor jenny had a allergic reaction to the chocolate crackles! Eeep
Then we were off to Eve to rock with Clyde weoo :D

Wish we could have stayed longer at both );

More later, it's time for homework sighh
LOVE LISA.
