Easter

Sylvia had an Easter Party at her house on Saturday night, it was so good catching up with school friends. I can talk to them so easily, the familiarity of a group of people that I had shared so many memories with was something I missed.

I also watched Beetlejuice with Daniel the other day. I remember seeing parts of it on t.v. as a child and being scared. Turns out it's not scary at all but has a great storyline and actors.

I'll make a collective haul post soon! I'm trying to remember what I've bought over the past month or so. Something along the lines of, a stila kajal, eyelashes, a brow pencil, BB cream, oh and some books even if they're not related.

I finally started reading a book again today, The Meaning of Things by AC Grayling.

It's non-fictional novel about (and I quote the subtitle) 'applying philosophy to life'. And you should know I love books like this, although on the flipside fantasy and classic novels are my next favourite thing. The latter I can barely put down as I'm good at immersing myself in riveting storylines, while books like Grayling's are thought-provoking and actually elicit a sense of...enlightenment in me? As silly as that sounds.

And so it goes

Saw Captain America on Thursday.

Some photos I've been meaning to upload:

Anniversary

Dinner @ Maedaya on Bridge Rd
Caught up with most of my friends from school.

First week of uni has passed, just like that. Oh I'm not going to lie it was slow and soul crushing but hey, I complain about things that other people don't see as vaguely negative.
I have never been quick to judge, done anything particularly outrageous, broken any one's trust or achieved anything great.
I always thought that if I lived without hurting anyone or anything, and always gave others the benefit of the doubt, even when they didn't deserve it, it would mean I would be treated the same way. So I wait and I wait for that day but nothing. Here I am, almost a year has passed since I officially became an 'adult' and nothing has changed. I am neither more or less respected, it's like I've set myself up for complete disappointment.
From where I'm standing, it looks like I've exacerbated my own life.

Inwha? Inception

Chadstone > Inception > Noodle Box > Haircut ♥

But at the station I noticed some guy was talking to me, but as always I have my music so loud I can hear nothing but music.
Then I took out my earphones and he said something like 'I was speaking chinese to you, you are chinese right?' and then after a while he started telling me about his trip to Vietnam and how he liked Saigon but it was no Ho Chi Minh..how he went on cable cars and the scenery was breathtaking..how he went with his chinese friends etc. And I had no idea what to say but 'ohhh' 'wow yeah sounds nice'

Thank god Daniel came and saved me (I thought he was going to keep talking to me endlessly) but before we could escape the guy proceeded to retell the whole story of his trip and the cable cars...sigh.
The weirdest part was how enthused he was to tell me, even though I barely said one word back to him.

Inception was slightly mind blowing, but I do enjoy that. 'cept we missed a chunk of the start and I hear the beginning was important? Oh well, I'll watch the start some day soon.

I do think believe I lost my glasses in the cinema or Chadstone or on a bus or similar ); aw, I hate losing things.

At Richmond station, people probably thought I was insane doing physics homework and taking photos of the glass ahahah,

I know, who is that person stalking me/that I am stalking in all my photos? ;)

Love Lisa.
PS. By haircut, I don't mean I had one, but I was the one doing the cutting, oh my...
PPS. Notice my new love for the zoom blur? Yes I'm behind with the times, leave me be D:

What up Oprah?

Finallllllly watched The Hangover, and sorry I was a non believer, but I was prepared for it to be not as amazing as I thought it would be.
But i still liked it! :DD

But good quality time was spent with my non identical twin, after a total drought of me having awesome chats with her.

YAYAYAY, that is all ;)

I feel like dancing.
Which reminds me I miss hip hop soo badly, not that I was any good but we were getting better for sure and it was bloody fun!

Toy Story

That is one bloody good movie! The ending was so sad though :')

Just checked facebook, looks like we have won the hoodie competition! So now we get our money back. Hell yeah, hello $65 ;)

Oh god overdose of bubble cup is making me feel really REALLY bloated D:

Nooo my hair still smells like smoke, and who was even smoking last night? No one I can remember, unless you count briefly walking through the paths of smokers.
How odd.

I should have brought my camera out today!

Note To Self: It's April Fool's

Therefore, if anyone says anything particularly outrageous or shocking today, must be wary.

So as to not have a repeat of a previous year, when Tracey told me she had a lesbian crush on me and it was one of those things where it seems ridiculous and I don't believe it..but there's always the slimmest chance it could be true.
Though I didn't realise it was already April since we were talking just past midnight. The slydog.

Watched Coraline last night, and I was disturbed in a very weird way. More so if I had watched that as a child, or maybe I was too idiotic back then. But I did like it overall :)

PS. FFFFUUU I HAVE 12097243987 MOZZIE BITES, ALL OF WHICH WERE OBTAINED WITHIN 5MINUTES OF BEING IN MY BACKYARD.

Early Celebrations

Hello chipmunk.

It was Cath's birthday today and bread day woo. That means cake and bread.

Saw Valentines Day with Martin. It was alright, very cute movie, not much of a storyline but it was interesting how they all the characters were interwoven into each others lives. The happy ending with the kid was unexpected but aww ;D

Martin gave me this cushion/plushie thaaaang ;D

It's so soft and squishy, but it's fairly fat, so it took up all the space in my bag and made it awkward to carry on my shoulder but who cares ;)
Yay now I have two things to hug to sleep hahaha.

and more amazing this:

Holy shit, yes it's the picture storybook I've had on my wishlist since i was 10 years old.
The storyline is just so ridiculously endearing.
One of the most perfect things I could receive.

Still not quite feeling in tip top shape but this temporary illness is definitely passing, wooo :D

Oh had a chem volumetric prac and i kept spilling sulphuric acid on my fingers :( it made them kinda sting and itch.

Promise I'll write more on the weekend, goodnight lovelies and happy weekend.
Love Lisa.

Rock Climbing

Had chinese school yesterday.

Watched Martin, his brother and brother's friends rock climb.

Then saw Edge of Darkness. Stupid girl gave us the tickets to the wrong movie. Tried to exchange them but Martin ended up having to pay an extra $17..wtf :(
Movie wasn't as good as I expected it to be. Seriously, the ads make it seem like such a twisted and action packed movie. Everyone shot everyone else o_o

new favourite models..well of asian/part asian descent :)

Paula Kawanishi, japanese and brazilian mix..err wow?!

Du Juan, I want pouty lips like hers!

Devon, never liked her much to begin with but now i think she's amazing :) and damn she's shorter than me!

Love Lisa.
ps. more on what i did today in the next post :)
