Spring

Hello readers, if there are any of you left.

Not too much has been happening in my life.
Currently on a much needed uni mid semester break. And lucky us it's 2 weeks off weoo. Now all I have to do is make the most of it...
Friday night I spent with Daniel, it was great going out at night for once, I hadn't done that in a very very long time.
The unfortunate discovery I made as I wrote a list of all the work to catch up on and assignments due in the near future is right after the break is non stop work.
In fact to even stay on top of things I should be doing work every day in the break. Mmm I'm highly lackin gthe motivation recently.

The weather was crazy warm today, 29degrees and sunny. But as the evening wore on, a storm slowly rolled in. Thunder, lighting, the whole package. Weather is apparently shit tomorrow.

Also I hope that sometime this week, maybe even tomorrow, I will be able to go upgrade my phone plan and get my Samsung Galaxy SII ehehe.
I do wonder why I ever wanted an iPhone, I suppose I was caught up in the hype just like everyone else. Although I never really wanted an iPhone 4, I only wanted the iPhone 5 because it will be new ahaha.
Luckily I got over that because the Galaxy is a much better phone than the iPhone 4 and it's cheaper, go figure.

However this leads me onto my next dilemma, I'm scared that with a new phone I will have ZERO concentration on studying because when I buy new technology I am obsessed for it for an indefinite period of time. I will carry it everywhere, constantly polish and clean it, and practically cuddle it to sleep. Oh yes.

Speaking of study, let's try to get some in now.

Review: G&G/Dueba Dizon Eye Violet

I purchased these from fobbybarbie.com
The shipping took 15 days, so that's just over 2 weeks as expected.

It came in a bubble wrap padded bag:

Colour 9/10
I really quite like the colours of these lenses, its not an extremely vibrant or intense shade of violet. So it's not as unnatural as some violet lenses that I've seen before.
Design 8/10
I think that the ring of colour could come further in towards the pupil hole or it could possible fade out a bit more subtly.
Enlargement 8/10
Although these are 14.5mm, same as the EOS Max Gold Black, I do not find them as enlarging nor do they give as much of a dolly eyed effect.
Comfort 8/10
I do not find these as comfortable as my EOS lenses, it takes at least an hour or 2 for my eyes to become accustomed to the lenses. Also I feel like they do not fit my eye as well as the EOS do, but that could be due to my eye shape.

Overall, I love the way these lenses look from afar, it just adds a hint of a dark purple/violet, without being too weird looking. However if someone was to come within maybe 15cm of your face and stare into your eyes (which are in direct sunlight) the design does not look that great. The purple ring seems not to blend well up close (as you can see from the picture below).

Ahh close ups of it and in direct sunlight...freaky.
[okay I had to take these pictures down, I don't want to scar anyone]

With and without (taken on a different day to the other pictures, using my SB-600 bounce flash):

Light from the window but not in direct sunlight.

Sorry for the picture overload,
Love Lisa.

PS. Just to put it out there yes, yes I do have a slight new obsession for circle lenses and nail art. Am I becoming incredibly asian? はい。

Oh em geee, yeah so if any happens to see this on youtube, I'm not trying to hide it or anything but its not a particularly good video.
I whipped it up because your supposed to get a free pair for doing a video review, unfortunately I have not received this in return yet..I will get it out of them >:( hence why I'm keeping this video up for now.

Newest Fad

Nails.
I've gone nail mad, the number of youtube videos I have watched within 24 hours based around nail polish reviews and nail art tutorials must be at least 200 if not more (I skip through the majority of them).

So I made purchases totalling a few dollars on ebay, and let's see if I can get creative with my nails :)
Still want a NYX jumbo eye pencil but I seriously am struggling to afford anything over $5 right now. Plus there are a number of upcoming birthdays in the next month or so, I need to save up or get a job.

Also possible casual/temporary job, club photography. We will have to see how that goes.

Spent the day with Daniel, it feels so good to just be with someone I can talk to about anything, that makes me laugh and doesn't yell at me for no reason.

Don't mind the photo self potrait, lame I know. But this is the Superdry duffle and scarf weeo :D

After Sylvia's I think.

Well this was completely expected.

Bunnikins!

A few weeks ago.

Speakers please

At work again, I'm so tired.
Okay so I decided to get Michael to drive me to school today so I could collect my lock and clean out my lockers.
But of course, last day of school is today yet they've already cut my lock off and thrown out whatever was in my locker.
Thanks school, after everything I've done for you.

According to Michael 'they probably thought i had planted a bomb in there' LOL my ultimate motive, to blow up the school...psh no, like I would waste that much effort on them haha :P

Um if anyone particularly wants to go bowling at Strike within the next month: JUMPONIT

Click through to Melbourne for a $1 a game voucher, available for the next day or so only though :)

So I'm at work again, cept this time when I got here, I struggled to find the path to the back entrance haha.
But I found the laneway after some scouting :)

Okay if anything interesting happens I'll update this.

theoatmeal.com, i don't think I've visited that website in a year or so :O (even though it emails me fairly often oops)
And it's proving to not only provide wit, but teaching me about such things as the origins of coffee
but also that:
-Sir Isaac Newton invented the catflap
-cats purr at the same frequency of a idle diesal engine & can hear ultrasonic sounds :O
-beer must be stored upright, to minimise contamination and oxidation (knew that one but didn't know why)

Now that I think about it, does anyone else even find these facts interesting, or is it just me haha

-webdesigns
but sometimes the original web designer just isn't that good themselves (no offence)

-a lot, not 'alot', the amount of times I misspell that, click me bitchez

-was jsut reminded of alien vs predator, face huggers and those baby aliens that burst out of your chest scared me shitless, even though now that I think back, the graphics were pretty shit in the game, I do not like things jumping out at me D:

Nonononono, I really wish I could give someone my offers from Monash. It's making me feel guilty for wanting to go to Melbourne while I'm getting med interviews. I'm sure there are people out there who would kill for an interview and here I am wishing I never got the offer ):

Digital Age

Finally we have moved on from our ancient analogue television ways.
Not that this is a huge change...no one in the family watches much tv.
Cept 'A League of their Own' was on channel Go and I reminisced about when it used to be my favourite movie LOL good times.
I thought Geena Davis was amazingg and I only just noticed that Madonna was in the film too!

What else has happened today...oh I drove home EXCEPT, Michael was the supervising driver, whoaa.
And what a huge difference it did (yet didn't) make.
It made a difference in the sense that I didn't have to stick to the speed limits as much and I just wasn't constantly being yelled at for everything.
So then I could drive how I wanted to, and clearly I made it home alive and in good time too.

I rewatched this and it's so sad for what is meant to be a happy ending? That you can see them at the zoo?

There's another video I'm looking for but I can't remember what it was called, it was like animated drawings. It was so cute D;

Spent the past hour on youtube, yum.

The ending! D;
Also, they will make hot half asian babies.

Aw Victor and his sister Lydia, I didn't even realise they were siblings until I saw this video.

'I can't rap and drum at the same time, yo my raps dont even rhyme, take the bongos cos I can't go congo, that was a good movie back in the day The beat's a lil cra cra'

And seriously, can Victor Kim do any more?! He plays the guitar, uke, drums, can sing and dance WELL.

Catching up with YouTube & Shh

Do we expect any less?
But one thing, dancing without a proper bra? Ouch.

Joseph Vincent

#1 I think I am physically incapable of insulting someone. The day I do will be a milestone.
#2 It's hard for me to even dislike someone, not matter what they've done to anyone (we're not talking rapist murderers here), I spend my time sifting through the thick of it to find any reason not to.
#3 Things I hear teach me to be wary, that's all, that's not really a secret, but I hear conflicting tales all too often.
#4 I love being someone's confidante.
