The Family Car Is Out To Get Me

So I'm driving to have a check up with my maxillofacial oral surgeon and right outside his office, I'm trying to turn into the street and BAM the engine stalls. FML. Have you ever had you car stop suddenly in the middle of the road? Especially a busy intersection during peak hour?! Because it's damn scary.
And you know what doesn't help at all, my mum screaming at me that this is all my fault while I'm trying to reignite the engine.
Clap clap mum you've done it again in being supportive.

Also I forgot to note that the only person that gave me the time of their day to come and help me was a truckie (not to be cliche but he had a beard), who was driving a massive truck but even parked to then come out and help me. Thank you so much to him and to everyone else that just motioned angrily and impatiently at me...what did you expect me to do, jesus.

Surgeon said I did have a slight dry socket so I probably was looking at my jaw bone so I say HA to those that didn't believe me!

Currently been powering through Malcolm In The Middle, up to season 7 now.
Here are my nails for last week, never thought I would like turquoise nail polish but there you go. And the brown nail was just because I wanted to test the brown out, I didn't expect this mani to not chip for 7 days without a top coat. But it lasted so I left it on even though it's pretty mismatched.

Strange but last night at 3am, 'Iris' starting playing in my head as I was trying to get to sleep and it made me incredibly sad.

My newest complaint, on and off stomach pains over the past 4 days. Why won't they go away :(

Recent Revelations

Most of which I forgot. Lovely.
I'm sure almost everyone has the tendency to make ridiculously amazing breakthroughs in the shower, and then the moment you step out of the shower, poof. All amazing ideas gone.
Or perhaps that's just me.

So I can't believe I didn't even update yesterday.
I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST. Yeahhh baby now I rock the red P plates ;D
Long story short, if my tester hadn't been so nice I may have received a critical error or two and therefore failed.

#2 Jap class tomorrow with Daniel weooo.

I bought ribbon for my diary, ribbon (a spotted one and a lacey one) for my hair. My Urban Outfitters package came :D but there's still one more box I'm waiting for.
I won't be posting up picture of this one because most of what I bought will eventually be gifts for people :)

My french barrette clips came ( I think that's what theyre called)
And I'm pretty sure I'm waiting on a few more eBay purchases to arrive.

Reminder that I need to pick up my jumper/sweater from Meghan.

Cath's toga party is tomorrow night, pretty much have my toga ready, perhaps I'll buy some rope or similar to tie it with? We will see.

That's all for now.

Digital Age

Finally we have moved on from our ancient analogue television ways.
Not that this is a huge change...no one in the family watches much tv.
Cept 'A League of their Own' was on channel Go and I reminisced about when it used to be my favourite movie LOL good times.
I thought Geena Davis was amazingg and I only just noticed that Madonna was in the film too!

What else has happened today...oh I drove home EXCEPT, Michael was the supervising driver, whoaa.
And what a huge difference it did (yet didn't) make.
It made a difference in the sense that I didn't have to stick to the speed limits as much and I just wasn't constantly being yelled at for everything.
So then I could drive how I wanted to, and clearly I made it home alive and in good time too.

I rewatched this and it's so sad for what is meant to be a happy ending? That you can see them at the zoo?

There's another video I'm looking for but I can't remember what it was called, it was like animated drawings. It was so cute D;

Olympic Ice Skating Rink

Went Ice Skating today.

I drove there and on the way, my dad had a panic attack because we were on Warrigal Road and there was a massive semi trailer next to me.
He kept saying 'okay okay, don't stress, DON'T FREAK OUT STAY CALM'
Ha really, dad, I don't think I'm the one you should be telling that to :P

Got there a little early but soon Tracey, Jake and Cath were there, along with Amy :)
It was like dejavu being in there, I used to do lessons therefore went there once a week for half a year (I think).
Then Jake's friend Alex came and then Pauline, wait I'm not sure who came before who but :D
Ate a potato cake and shared a bag of potato gems with Cath and Paul mmm.
Everyone kept getting tomato sauce on them haha. Thankgod I didnt, since I had a white jumper on.

Afterwards I bussed to Box Hill with Cath, having a loong talk with her (it was a long bus ride).
Bought a Chocolate Cookie Puff (wait is that what it's called) from Puffy.
Then, met up with my parents outside Coles haha.

Came home to discover one bitching blister on the right side of my left foot LOL
Even worse, you know how blisters kinda have that layer of skin that's detached but still there.
Yeah that bit of skin was more or less gone so it was just a gaping red area of raw skin, about the size of a 20cent coin if not bigger. Miam mian.

I would have taken a photo (ahahha seriously it was gross but amazingly huge) but mum was quick to bandaid it up for me.

So, since 5pm I have been cunctating..LMFAO wow that sounds wrong but trust me, we all do it ;)

It was good to escape my thoughts for a while,
Love Lisa.

Lovely (Somewhat Busy) Day

Ze weather was lovely, pefect fit for today as a whole. Nine monthage too ;D
Though it started off in a mad rush everywhere, it couldn't have ended up better ;)

It started like this, had to get up early to pick up the english novels we ordered from school, precisely between 9-10am.
Made it there around 9.40ish, the Campion books guy looked so sad and lonely in the canteen, much too happy to see another person (ie. myself). Haha, poor man.

Then dropped mum off at her little chinese club thang, (I was driving) and I had to go into this little laneway, reverse, and then drive out, anyhow it was a tight fit and people kept walking right next to the car so it felt like it was taking a year to get back out onto the road. Plus at this one point this pair of women walked by then one bends down, and peers right into our window, on dad's (passenger) side. Damn nosy chinese lady.

I accidentally ran a red light, eek. It's this intersection at Bellmont Rd. It's insanely difficult to navigate with as the road goes all bendy and god knows, and there was some hazardous glare coming off the tram tracks! :|

Back home, somehow wasted over half an hour doing nothing, showered, then realise it was 11.15am, therefore had to dash to school to collect reports, apparently we were meant to go around 11.30.
Made it there a little late, with dripping wet hair but guess what, our form teachers weren't even there! Damn lazy bums.

After like 10-15mins grabbed my report and was running back to dad.
Finally home again. Blow dried my hair as it had dried funny during my stay at school.

Came home, bummed around the place for a bit, ate lunch. And was off again, to the train station (poor dad having to drive me everywhere, besides from when I drove mum).
Missed my train by a minute or two (classic). Eventually got to MC, and found Martin waiting (sorry boy).
He had to eat because the genius hadn't yet..and it was 2.30ish! :P
Ate at QV Burger Edge. Martin had extreme difficulty deciding whether to go to Woolworths or Big W.
Went Big W to buy candy, they didn't have crispy M&Ms.
Went 'Woolworths' to buy candy.
Grabbed crispy M&Ms.
Walked past the Startburst range, how easily he was swayed and bought a Party Mix bag instead.
Genius. ;)

Watched The Office :)
And he just had to drink orange juice, forcing me to run for the train, it's inevitble, cutting things too close for comfort..comfort being my inability to run for an extended period of time. Haha but oh well, I'm almost used to it now.
But I guess the man is entitled to drink his orange juice, crazy boy ;)

I've written too much, time to eat fruit,
Love Lisa.
PS. I rediscovered all the shit I stole from the school art department, lino cutting tools, painbrushes..lino itself LOL
Not too bad of a hoard from a dusty old forgotten art kit ;)

Freeway Freedom

Michael left for Sydney this morning.

And dad just receieved a text from him saying he just arrived in Sydney.
He'll be back on Wednesday.

Trying to be productive today by..

a) washing the dishes

b) putting up the christmas decorations

LOL the acorn next to the nativity scene is so unnecessary

c) reading

d) drving, which I am going to do now

e) ordering photos (have to this this tonight or it will be too late!)

f) throwing out a very old half eaten sandwich

g) CLEANING THE FISH TANK, i'm so sorry my little danios, I've become a terrible almighty overlord, i don't even feed you daily, but I think this has jsut made you hardier since none have died in a year or two :)
(yeah i didn't end up cleaning the fish tank)

Ze wallet Angel bought me.

LOOK WHAT I FOUND. Dad bought this for me ages ago in Primary School, Year 5 or 6. I think it was through a school book sale. Aww there were some damn nifty tricks I learnt. Pity I've forgotten.

WHY THE HELL AM I A SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD WITH THE JOINTS OF A 70 YEAR OLD.
I jarr everything and my hip/knee cap always seems to jsut snap out of place, rendering me unable to walk without being in an awesome amount of pain.

Okay its 6.21pm now, came home from driving an hour or so ago. Went on the freeewaay, if anything it's kinda boring, but I dislike driving slowly with a passion. Tempted to have the windows down but thought better of it when I envisaged my hair blowing everywhere (mainly my face) and blinding me.

Love Lisa.
