I haven't asked for much, so I beg that you do not smite me with your almighty hand tomorrow.
Love Lisa.
PS. I have not written about Michael's snapped humerus bone (which happened friday night).
Long story short he had surgery and some titanium plate put in today.
He seems pretty okay for now but I can see a fairly long road to recovery, the xray of the bone made me feel weak in the arms. (He's going to get a digital copy, so I'll upload it at some point)
At least it was a clean break and not all shattered in pieces.

OnMouseOver
Okay I'm just going to give up...for now
Does javascript not work or something on here?
Probably I'm just doing it wrong
BUT I WANT ONMOUSEOVER and for the image to roll over, why oh whyy ):
I was trying to make it easier to see the before and after photos without creating an animated gif.
But since I've tried for hours I may as well just link the photos.

Scratch what I said before, I'll describe my day quickly.
This morning it was back to Chinese School...today's lesson wasn't that bad yet it was fairly unproductive for me, lucky I came prepared with methods homework LOL.
I study for methods in Chinese school..hmmm :\
Had pasta for lunch and then afterwards my brother drove me to Officeworks because I needed stationary.
Bought 2 binders, 2 folders, those kilometrico pens, gel blue pens and spiral notebooks because I MUST start writing out my methods and spesh notes!
And 100pack of plastic pockets, because use those like crazy :D
Then on the way home, I had to get hot & spicy KFC because I mentioned it before we left.
And oh god that was some good chicken.
Love Lisa.
PS. I swear to god that the range of stationary at Officeworks is diminishing :'(

Lang Anal
Finally, english is over for the time being. Well, in terms of assessed work.
The article was this one, which, to my amazement when I saw it on the single desk I was about to sit at, I have read before :D
Including the cartoon with four frames and additionally a letter to the editor written in response to the article.
Yess finally reading the newspaper has paid off. Wait is payed a word..paid...payed, it's paid right? :|
Fingers crossed this will be something I can actually do well on in english because I feel like it wasn't nearly as (okay, far from) terrible as the On The Waterfront one. Plus my practise ones were fine, it's just me + time limit = disaster.
Anyways, now it's time to catch up on spesh..many..many MANY chapters of spesh. It'll probably lead into the holidays..can't wait huh ^o)
Elspeth printed out our formal invites, aw I should have made space at the top so she could personalise them, instead of having to cram above the 'you are invited to', if only I knew.
It was another one of those Tuesdays. Had a chinese detailed study sesh with Sui Laoshi in my spare. Formal committee meeting at lunch, plus there were meant to be badminton trials but luckily they didn't seem to have been on.
And of course after school was english. Weow.
OH OH OH OHHHHH, my new earphones came :DD
They're freaking awesome, the bass was meant to be better than the sennheiser ones but they seem about the same. Who cares though, they have a fabric cord thing...if that makes sense, rather than the usual plastic encasing the wires and shit.
I believe the advantage is added flexibility? And I always twist/ wrap my wires, which according to dad and brother is how I killed my last ones.
Wait one more thing, my dad bought me a book about giant pandas for my detailed study. He got our relative (I think she's my cousin) who lives in Syndey to get it while she was in China, and then she mailed it to us when she got back to Australia. Mrs. Sui was mighty impressed by my dad's initiative, but no more than I am, aww.
Oh I hear it's 粽子 season ahahhah, to commemorate some ancient guy in the army who drowned himself because the emperor didn't listen to his amazing advice. Okay I don't know the full story and then people threw 粽子 into the water so he couldn't get eaten by...whatever lived down there. How thoughtful of them.
Anywho, my parents are making enough to keep us alive for the long cold winter.
Seems like we've moved on from the 小笼包 and 馒头, but they'll be back before I realise it.

Need to shower and clear my camera's memory card.
Because it's about time I started doing something in preparation for the formal,
Love Lisa.

SCHOOLHOUSIN'
Wasting time. Must. Write. English. Expository.
Must. Finish. Physics. EEI SAC.
Must. Study.
Feeling quite drained, chinese school teacher told my parents I talk to much during class.
Which then dragged up my parents primary school criticim of my class behaviour. And the argument lasted forever. Thanks张老师. What I just realised is my chinese teacher at normal school and chiense school have the same surname :O Oh my.
Took me an hour to draw 10 trig reciprocal graphs. Pretty weak don't you think?
Made instant noodles witha fried egg for lunch.
Going to eat an apple now.
Goals for today:
-complete half my physics
-write an expository, email it to Mrs Badoer
-do an hour of methods
-start english help sheet
-copy out chinese
Until next time,
Love Lisa.

Apocalyptic
It all started when the sky turned black. Then, a distant rumble.
Next thing you know, balls of icy goodness are pelting down. Dad got a few while they were still small-ish (still way bigger than usual) and then I kid not when I say they got to the size of ice cubes.
At first I was all woo how awesome, then I started picturing the tennis ball sized ones that rained down on Syndey and destroyed houses..then I was scared.
But then that didn't happen so it was back to woo :D
Let me go back a few hours. I had chinese school, oh chinese. I used to be good at it, then it seems like everyone else improved dramatically and I'm stuck at a 10th grade level or something :'(
Oh well, what can I do.
Afterwards we went to Camberwell. And I saw a pair of shoes, and I was in love.
Then I saw the price tag, $30 (75% off the RRP) and that sealed the deal, I had to have them. ASAP.
a range of days

(it's really difficult showing a whole outfit because there's no timer or countdown option on my webcam program thing, so i have to be within reach of the mouse D:
i could be so tb :D

first day I've worn tights in many MANY long months o_o

after running cross country which for me, is equivalent to a marathon hahaha

yes, this post is quite erratic. Goodnight.
Love Lisa.

Rock Climbing
Had chinese school yesterday.
Watched Martin, his brother and brother's friends rock climb.

Then saw Edge of Darkness. Stupid girl gave us the tickets to the wrong movie. Tried to exchange them but Martin ended up having to pay an extra $17..wtf :(
Movie wasn't as good as I expected it to be. Seriously, the ads make it seem like such a twisted and action packed movie. Everyone shot everyone else o_o
new favourite models..well of asian/part asian descent :)

Paula Kawanishi, japanese and brazilian mix..err wow?!

Du Juan, I want pouty lips like hers!

Devon, never liked her much to begin with but now i think she's amazing :) and damn she's shorter than me!
Love Lisa.
ps. more on what i did today in the next post :)
