Stalemate

It was one of those days where I wake up and I know my eyelids are fucked up. If you're not asian, you're lucky you won't know what I mean.

Though I can think straighter today, seems I have been struck with an assortment of maladies, my cough is back, my head throbs and I am a bit photosensitive.

Always toward absent lovers love's tide stronger flows.

I've spent the day inside my own mind.
Replaying the same events over and over. Reenacting would could have been.
Yet none of it makes sense to me. Everything's all a mess. Nothing is where is should be.

There's this dull ache in the back of my mind, that I can't shake.
I feel broken, I can't function properely.
I haven't felt hungry...(there's only two things that make me not hungry, either I'm having too much fun or there's something very wrong). And I haven't been able to write a single coherent sentence for my english essay.

My mind has a tendency to remember and want to relive the perfect memories, the ones that I never wanted to end. I am only able to focus on the good, is that a flaw? Because that's how I get by, each and every day. That's the only way I can.

I am going in circles. Save me.

English Orals & Parent Teacher Interviews

FIRSTLY IF YOU DIDNT NOTICE, ASK ME ANYTHING YOU WANT, JUST TYPE IT IN THE FORMSPRING BOX TO THE RIGHT (SOMEHWERE) ---->
YOU CAN REMAIN ANONYMOUS :)

Oh Wang Bang as my nickname on my Year 12 jumper? Yay or nay?
The only other option I can think of is Lisa Pisa, but that could sound a little...how shall I put it, lame. Even though I consider it a valid nickname and quite like it, to the outside world..yeah

I'll talk about tomorrow and today's yearage later :)

Finally, no more english orals...ever EVER again.
I bet I'll start becoming wistful, missing them even. But for now, I can rejoice.
So my oral went okay, could have been worse, could have been better (but can't it always?)
As usual I stumbled across a few sentences and words, I have some serious articulation/enunciation issues.

After school I had parent teacher interviews. As usual my dad was ridiculous, not exactly in a bad way, but he and Mrs. Hill had a good old laugh about an incident at VCE information night.
But overall, everyone's comments were far nicer than I expected.

See I logically ordered my interviews from what I thought would be worst, to best. Or I tried, but I was restrained by the available times.
It went, Mrs. Badoer (English), Mr Hester (Physics), Mrs Hill (Spesh), Mrs Kettle (Methods), Mr. Nicoll (Chem), and then Mrs. Zhang (Chinese).
Our chats with Mrs Hester and Mr Micoll were both very shortlived, they were quite nice, especially Mr. Nicoll, and then that was that.

That reminds me, now Mr. Nicoll has me hoping for some sort of amazing outcome in Chem. He looks straight at me and goes, you can get in the 40s, for sure a 40s student. o_o eeep, I hope not to disappoint him.

Oh and Mrs. Zhang said I made good use of idioms in Chinese essays..I don't even consciously remember using them intentionally...

Anyhow, I'm dead tired. Dad made me drive home and pick mum up from Camberwell, which involved parking a few times. Which I realise I can actually park perfectly fine, just in the past Dad has stressed me out everytime I tried.

Random Fact
On Friday the 14th 2011 I will be 1000 weeks old.

Love Lisa.

PS. Is it weird that I'm inspired to work now but I'm here typing this?
PPS. Made the most amazing Windows 7 feature discovery...okay are you ready for it..Maths Input Panel (ahhahaah alright maybe the fact that I'm astounded by this revelation says a lot about me)
oh and Windows Journal, I've nevr wanted a graphics tablet more than I do now. Definitely on my birthday wishlist (it's been there since I was 12)

Apocalyptic

It all started when the sky turned black. Then, a distant rumble.
Next thing you know, balls of icy goodness are pelting down. Dad got a few while they were still small-ish (still way bigger than usual) and then I kid not when I say they got to the size of ice cubes.
At first I was all woo how awesome, then I started picturing the tennis ball sized ones that rained down on Syndey and destroyed houses..then I was scared.
But then that didn't happen so it was back to woo :D

Let me go back a few hours. I had chinese school, oh chinese. I used to be good at it, then it seems like everyone else improved dramatically and I'm stuck at a 10th grade level or something :'(
Oh well, what can I do.

Afterwards we went to Camberwell. And I saw a pair of shoes, and I was in love.
Then I saw the price tag, $30 (75% off the RRP) and that sealed the deal, I had to have them. ASAP.

a range of days

(it's really difficult showing a whole outfit because there's no timer or countdown option on my webcam program thing, so i have to be within reach of the mouse D:

i could be so tb :D

first day I've worn tights in many MANY long months o_o

after running cross country which for me, is equivalent to a marathon hahaha

yes, this post is quite erratic. Goodnight.
Love Lisa.

Give Me A Reason, Please?

School doesn't make sense. Maybe I haven't recovered from Luna Park yesterday but I was so out of it, couldn't retain a single thing.
Since I wasn't at school, I didn't get my second chem SAC back. But I dread seeing it, I alreayd know for sure I screwed up two questions (and there
s not that many questions in total), and I thought I'd ace chem :(

And now everything seems like a blur. I'm doing shitter in every subject than I have in any other year. What a great year to start going downhill.
Methods is okay, I just do stupid mistakes..the ones I thought I grew out of last year.
Chinese...well my chinese school teacher has lost hope in me, or if I continue at my current standard she'll probably want to kick me out of chinese school for dragging down the scores. I think I lost a fair few marks on the listening SAC, haven't got it back but it's one of those things you just know.
English, yeah I don't know, haven't really gotten back into the swing of writing, my essays are cliche and very mediocre.
Physics..physics..I really don't know about this one. I like the subject but it can take a while for me to grasp the gist of it.
Spec is as expected, just passing woo :D

4 days to go though :) The only thing I look forward to.

Our Last Cross Country

So it was the final year of House Cross Country that I decided, I would actually try this time.
The year that many of the people who normally ran the whole way, walked.

I ran maybe 70% of it, and it's 3.2km (i think?). Might not sound like a lot but really wouldn't consider myself to be fit..at all.
I don't ever EVER exercise. There was the gymming phase, but now I'm back to being lazy...the state I belong in.

Oh and I came 17th with Anya as my running buddy,. Not too shabby considering. I'm proud :)
I forget who, but someone said top 20 were in the cross country team, and then I wanted to cry. But I discovered it was top 10 or 12 hehee
The cross country team do hardocre running, at 6am in the morning, just thinking about it makes me feel tired.

Speaking of which I'm dead tired.
I am tempted to nap.

Love Lisa.

PS. I'll put photos up later..
I know I haven't updated anything in a while, school has been working me overtime :(
At least all the chem work paid off, got my first SAC back :D
