Boxing Day

New glasses.

Chadstone @ 7.30am, was meant to get there at 6, but of course no one in my family was awake but me, of course. Sigh.
Met up with Daniel for a while :) and bought him a shirt that he had previously picked out :D weoo finally a 'christmas' present, if it can be considered that on Boxing day haha.
Saw Kevin & Anthony..well didn't recognise them until they were about 2m away from me.
Bought wedge heeled strappy boots (my description sounds excessive), I'll take a photo some day.
Michael bought a Samsonite cosmolite suitcase, originally 700, and 40% off that :)
Mum bought 2 pairs of bathers.
Ate maccas.
Umm then there was some aimless wandering, eventually bought some earrings and rings at Diva for a total of $10.
There was me sitting outside Myer on the floor for about half an hour, being stared at because i was sitting next too a luggage case, people probably thought i was some fob using it as my shopping trolley. (which in a sense it did serve as that purpose)
Then went to Cath's before dinner to pick up the delivery ;D and get some 90210 off her.

Babushka Dolls

Well this is how it began, general wandering around collins/elizabeth st with Daniel.
Saw this awesome little shop in..okay I forgot where we were but it sold babushka dolls and christmas decorations.
We visited the upstairs section of the shop and on our way back down, about halfway down the staircase I saw this creepy with doll thing in the corner of the wall and i was like 'oh my god...' and I guess tried to back away, but in doing so I almsot fell down the stairs..backwards :|
But Daniel saved me ;) ahah, but literally he did, I tried to hold onto some display for support but the glass just slid out, therefore if Daniel didn't save me not only would I have maybe broken some bones and had a concussion, but I would have pulled glass/a variety of babushka dolls crashing down onto me.
That was too much of a near accident for my liking hahaha.

Just happened to see Roger outside ANZ, then Jenny came (or was always in ANZ?)
Anyhow, we had a fairly long short chat (ahah) cept we were standing in the paths of people not only walking in both directions but in perpendicular directions too.

Subway for lunch mmm :)
Then walked to QV and did not end up seeing any dresses D;
But we did find Jenny and Roger at Romanos Cafe, we sat there for 2 hours I reckon.
And the conversation led from candles to club x? LOL I love how conversations flow :)
Then Pauline came for a bit and we all parted ways, and yum Harajuku Crepes!

Just discovered that the name 'babushka' is actually incorrect but just has common use now, they're actually called Matryoshka Dolls :)

Noo, I want to cry... LOL :|

Studious Morning

And then the productiveness stopped ;D

Effect of the curtain..thing did not appear as I had intended whilst taking the photo.

Yes your eyes do not deceive you, I finally have a pair of black flats, although I will still like a more regular, no straps pair too.
But now I'm not desperate phew.
And yes huge ass bag, what I've always wanted, now I can carry even more shit around.
Total purchase price $40. Not bad.
The above may turn into my birthday present from my brother HA.

Old wallet, it has served me well for 3 or 4 years, I'll probably swap in between the two every now and then.

Will post pictures and what not after I give it to her :DD

OnMouseOver

Okay I'm just going to give up...for now
Does javascript not work or something on here?
Probably I'm just doing it wrong
BUT I WANT ONMOUSEOVER and for the image to roll over, why oh whyy ):

I was trying to make it easier to see the before and after photos without creating an animated gif.

But since I've tried for hours I may as well just link the photos.

Scratch what I said before, I'll describe my day quickly.

This morning it was back to Chinese School...today's lesson wasn't that bad yet it was fairly unproductive for me, lucky I came prepared with methods homework LOL.
I study for methods in Chinese school..hmmm :\

Had pasta for lunch and then afterwards my brother drove me to Officeworks because I needed stationary.
Bought 2 binders, 2 folders, those kilometrico pens, gel blue pens and spiral notebooks because I MUST start writing out my methods and spesh notes!
And 100pack of plastic pockets, because use those like crazy :D

Then on the way home, I had to get hot & spicy KFC because I mentioned it before we left.
And oh god that was some good chicken.

Love Lisa.
PS. I swear to god that the range of stationary at Officeworks is diminishing :'(

Adventures

But firstly I come home, and find out news that is blowing my mind.
Fuck, there's been so much heart break this year, NOT COOL.
And it kills me so much to see any of my friends hurting.

Once again, failure to find flats (as in the shoes) that suit me..let alone ones within a reasonable price range.
Sighhhhhh

And yes a hooded cape, heeled ankle boots and flats are now at the top of my wish list.

An amazing recliner was discovered today at Plush.
That one piece of furniture made me want to stay in the store forever.
Never has my ass been graced with such comfort...I genuinely mean that.

Love Lisa.
PS. I'm trying to read 3 books simultaneously, and it's proving to be difficult. But not instantaneously simultaneously because that is just ridiculous and of course you wouldn't have assumed that, moving on...

Formal Dress Success & Costo

I didn't realise until after I posted it as my status that it rhymed.

Saturday

Firstly, massive thankyou to Tracey who helped me out while trying on dresses! :) (I sound like I'm making a speech after receiving an award)

I'll put up pictures, maybe, don't know. Don't want to give it away but at the same time I really want to show everyone aha :D

Anyway, it took me 2 hours to decide.
I hear that Mystique Boutique in Balwyn was having a sale. So seeing as I really needed a dress I decided to go have a look.
Asking Tracey where it was, she said she would come with (aww) :)
I got there earlier than I expected and began to grab every dress in my size that look at least okay.
My brother drove me there straight from chinese, and he looked bored so I told him to do his own thing, I'd be 30minutes or so (he was shocked that i was take that long ^o) haha)
I've learnt that the most unthinkably horrendous dresses can look really nice when they're actually on you. Same as for dresses that don't suit others can suit you perfectly.

By the time Tracey found me, I was in the change rooms, already with 10 dresses to try on. Eventually sifted through and found four of my favourites.
Surprisingly they were all black, but it was the only colour they had in those styles (that were left).
Nothing against black dresses, it's just so..common. But whatever, I'm happy.

I was going to put them on hold for a few hours and then get my mum to come have a look, but they couldn't put them on hold because they were on sale :(
So then  had to call my brother to call my mum (couldn't get through to her myself) and see if she could come now.
Luckily dad was already home and drove her there, while my bro went home (I feel terrible I kept him waiting for an hour).

Mum came quite quickly and one hour later, I had my formal dress..plus another one LOL.
Yeah but in my defence the other was $39 and semi formal. Hehe.

Oh there was one really nice shop assistant, one who gave over the top compliments (which is still nice) and one that was more bitchy. Hmm.
The bitchy one didn't seem impressed that I just hung around with the dresses until my mum came.

Sunday

This morning I went to Costo with my mum and bro and man, is it massive in there. We discovered the photo centre there as well, decided to test out a few prints to see the quality, pretty handy I had my camera and therefore my SD card :)

Everything is so amazing there, like the size of the bulk packaging and the overall range. I think we only look at a half to 2/3 of the whole warehouse today and that took hours.

Some of the things we bought were Jack Daniels BBQ sauce (if you've been to TGIs you'll know how good it is, mm baby back ribs), chilli sauce and bagels (yesss). Oh also, value pack of aspirin (aspirin mask time ;D)

Picked up the photos and found that the quality wasn't bad at all, though there's a noticeable contrast and slight saturation boost. Hmm.

Overall, Costco is cheap, but you still spend quite a bit, and I don't mean for more purchases either.
See at Costco you see all this shit that's normally like 100 bucks but is now $50, so you're like ohh wow awesome deal, let's get it...while if you didn't see that deal at all maybe you would have bought something only $30, if that makes sense.

Photos later :)

Wasted way too much time today, time to do homework like mad,
Love Lisa.

Smith St

My bro took me to Smith St in Collingwood.
Bought 3 pairs of fake eyelashes and glue total $15, two pairs are really dodgy but the third is real human hair, which is slightly scary but I'll deal.

Then Nike Outlet Store, my bro bought compression shorts and tee. And he got me a tank aww :)
Now I have something proper to wear when I go to the gym (if I am ever bothered enough). Proper as in, suitable and won't turn disgusting when I sweat(it's meant to wick the sweat off me) LOL.

Then went with Michael to G-Star at Melb Central, because he bought a pair of jeans at some uni union sale but upon arriving at home he discovered a button/stud missing.
The girl happily said she'd replace it (they have a studding machine there damn I want one) and said that he could just wait in ther change rooms while they fixed it up for im (he was wearing the jeans).
But then he was intrigued to see how the machine worked so he made me go find a random pair of jeans in his size in the store for him to wear temporarily.
Long story short I magically picked the best pair of jeans and he ended up buying them. At first he was like 'I really like these jeans' & the price tag said $340 but then the chick told him they were a sale pair therefore down to $100. :O

Falling out booby pin, I blame the change of clothes.

^Wearing the Nike tank plus I wanted to show you my shit curling job.
It started off well then I got lazy and throughout the day it unravalled.

From Yesterday.
