Give Me A Reason, Please?

School doesn't make sense. Maybe I haven't recovered from Luna Park yesterday but I was so out of it, couldn't retain a single thing.
Since I wasn't at school, I didn't get my second chem SAC back. But I dread seeing it, I alreayd know for sure I screwed up two questions (and there
s not that many questions in total), and I thought I'd ace chem :(

And now everything seems like a blur. I'm doing shitter in every subject than I have in any other year. What a great year to start going downhill.
Methods is okay, I just do stupid mistakes..the ones I thought I grew out of last year.
Chinese...well my chinese school teacher has lost hope in me, or if I continue at my current standard she'll probably want to kick me out of chinese school for dragging down the scores. I think I lost a fair few marks on the listening SAC, haven't got it back but it's one of those things you just know.
English, yeah I don't know, haven't really gotten back into the swing of writing, my essays are cliche and very mediocre.
Physics..physics..I really don't know about this one. I like the subject but it can take a while for me to grasp the gist of it.
Spec is as expected, just passing woo :D

4 days to go though :) The only thing I look forward to.

Our Last Cross Country

So it was the final year of House Cross Country that I decided, I would actually try this time.
The year that many of the people who normally ran the whole way, walked.

I ran maybe 70% of it, and it's 3.2km (i think?). Might not sound like a lot but really wouldn't consider myself to be fit..at all.
I don't ever EVER exercise. There was the gymming phase, but now I'm back to being lazy...the state I belong in.

Oh and I came 17th with Anya as my running buddy,. Not too shabby considering. I'm proud :)
I forget who, but someone said top 20 were in the cross country team, and then I wanted to cry. But I discovered it was top 10 or 12 hehee
The cross country team do hardocre running, at 6am in the morning, just thinking about it makes me feel tired.

Speaking of which I'm dead tired.
I am tempted to nap.

Finished chinese essay woo :D

During dinner last night a winged ant was apparently harassing us, I however, did not see it.
Then once dinner was over, it flew into my face :)
A few moments later I hear this conversation
Mum: Hey, it's that flying ant that flew into Lisa's face
Dad: Kill it!
Mum: No, let's chilli sauce it to death
*silence*
Mum: It's having little spasms of a spicy fatality.

Haha, they're pretty cool, you can watch tv, dvds, from your iphone or whatever, just plug it in. And what I like is that the screen looks distant but large, like as if you were in a cinema :O

Another piece of technology brought home by Michael, it's a hi speed camera. Just digital, but it can take over 100 photos per second I believe...D: Yeah. Costs around 1k, so the same as an entry level slr.

Dinner tonight, my brother was discussing his options for the future. And mum started getting really agitated. The way she was talking and what she said, even now...I feel doomed, my brother is 24 and my mum is still clinging to her stranglehold on him. She really has no idea.
And arguments with her always end the same way, she says why do you keep arguing with me, I'm tired and I've been doing so much today.
When really, no one was arguing with her, she just has to refute anything that is remotely different to her opinion.
She needs to read my expository essay haha the 'Other people's viewpoints can stimulate and expand my thinking' one. If she could hear what she was saying, then I think she'd realise how ridiculous it all is. Not to dismiss everything that my mum says, but she needs to learn the fine line between caring and controlling.
Kudos to my brother, his shanghainese is way more advanced than mine. I wouldn't have been able to hold up against her for that long before I started mixing english and shangy together.

Okay Okay..Alright

Today felt productive, I wasn't in my, oh no I'm going to fail life mood (which I often am in these days)
However, I should still be doing even more work, since the work load has no definitive end.

Saturday went South Melb Beach with Martin :)
It got a little windy and not so warm later into the afternoon but it was good while it lasted.


During my webcam photo taking sesh I managed to take like 3 non blurry pictures out of 123097235, the rest turned out like:

Er now to do something, homework, read..ANYTHING :D

PS. There is a shit load of photos that I need to import off my baby (don't misinterpret, i am referring to my D60, speaking of which i want a macro lens so bad, but maybe a polarising filter should come first, since it only costs a fraction of the price), but the whole process is..irksome, especially when a have a plethora of other things to do, but i promise they'll be up by the end of the week, not that they're are of any particular importance. BUT WHATEVER :DD

Excuse my inconsistency

I'm just being lazy, and I loathe when I'm lazy. Truly, I feel a little disgusted by myself, wasting precious time in, what I've come to realise, an ephemeral life.
Mmm melodramatic perhaps but I believe it to be more than true.
But it's just too easy to sit idly by (for me at least), and to whittle away the minutes and hours staring into space.

I'll try to curb this habit, but I'm currently trapped in a vicious cycle :S

I'm already wearing what I plan on sleeping in, if you're wondering what's with the camo print...and after this i realised my arm looked oddly disproportionate...

But see^ it's normal..kinda (I'm holding the blind down, it kept blowing outwards and making the lighting even brighter :|)


Now reading the girl with the pearl earring. This is my prime reading position, feet up on the wall my desk is against.
(no wonder my posture is so terrible)


Had our chinese listening SAC, overall it was alright, there were 2 or 3 things I kept missing both times it played eurgh, oh well *fingers crossed.

What I realised, I like my hair right after it's dried, it's softer at that stage. And it also seems more voluminous :D

I guess I'll sleep early tonight.
Double spare tomorrow morning, might go to school normal time though to finish all my homework..fun :\

Spesh Test

Darn this mid afternoon lighting throws weird shadows.

Yeah yeah it's only a test whatever. So I don't care that much, but our SAC is an analysis task, so if I can't do a basic test in spesh then I'm fuucked for the SAC.
It was alright I guess, I think I lost about 6 marks though..OUT OF 26 :| yeahh, if it manages to stay at 20/26 I'll be happy enough..considering I just passed both of the exams last year.

Also, we got our new school ID's :) Which meant we got to see how our school photo turned out. I don't mind mine, but I never do, then I hate it, then I like it, then I don't care again.


There's just ONE thing that is pissing me off, you'll all be like wtf is wrong with her it's no big deal, but i have this bit of my fringe, that separated with the rest of the fringe and it's just aggravates me to notice. I could have so simply brushed it to the side, but no, no.
