Good afternoon dear readers, here is a recap of the past week in pictures.

Uneven eyelids, truly the bane of my existence. And my eyebrows look short here.

FRIDAY

After putting up some posters around shops we walked past 'Why You' in the CBD. How amazing is the interior of it?! Looks like something straight out of Japan. Daniel bought me Ichigo Milk Soap, It smells like strawberries and cream I can't wait to use it! >;D




After that we bumped into Venesha, Rushani and Kevin in MC.

TODAY

Tiring day, after only 4 hours sleep, it was off to the airport then home to do 3 loads of washing. House wife in the making aren't I? :P (I kid, I'm far from housewife worthy)

Pictures of when we were driving along the freeway, never fear I wasn't driving and taking pictures. Encountered some terrible drivers who kept drifting into our lane, learn how to drive! (I used the word drive and derivatives of it too many times in 2 sentences..)



Melbourne Airport, first time I've seen the letters on one of these boards flipping, but funnily enough I watched as the L in 'Leave' flip to a Q and it stayed that way for the next few hours :\

Dentists and Xrays

Eyebags and dark circles, product of a very stressful year and sleep deprivation in the long term.


Went to a new dentist today. It was quite confusing trying to get there, I was sure I was in the wrong place I walked through about 4 very scary deserted corridors.
But the actual dentistry was really nicely renovated and modern.
After an initial consultation, I'm told that yes my wisdom tooth on the right side is already coming through and the gum in that area is infected. So off to radiology I went, and then I was told I had 3 wisdoms that need to removed. Oh joy of joys :(

At least I was prescribed some antibiotics and painkillers because the pain has been giving me a really restless sleep. Not to mention the fact that I generally don't sleep more than 5 or 6 hours a night, so if that sleep is broken well then it doesn't go down well.



I was amused by this brochure. If I saw a bus full of people smiling as someone got their ticket checked I would be afraid, very afraid.


My nails, the photo doesn't quite show the colour of the base colour very well. It's much lighter, more of a light tuape grey brown.


At least I finished my physics prac an hour early today. Yay.

Someone take my debit card away from me!

I cannot, I repeat cannot stop with the online purchases, I'm finding myself accumulating more and more unnecessary accessories, cosmetics and the odd piece of attire, albeit they were all purchased at a great day. But like I used to tell people, yes one item for $2 is cheap but when you buy 50x that, then you're in trouble...

First it started with my paypal account, I've had that for about 4 years, yes, young 15 year old Lisa loved online shopping too. I mainly bought/sold on ebay and most sellers accepted paypal so that was great. But then within the past year or two, I started noticing some larger chain shops only accepted credit card. So I thought to myself, let's get one so when I desperately want to buy something I don't have to ask my dad or brother for their credit cards and have them disapprove of my retail therapy ways. So I get my own debit card (making sure it wasn't credit so I couldn't go into debt) and linked it to my paypal account. Easy, no? What a fool I am...not to mention the fact that I do not have a job?! Ahh such is my life.

Ahh I'm so excited for my Dream Girls BB Cream to arrive, since I ordered a bit over a week ago, it should be here in the next week ;D I'm pretty sure it will be too light for me, but people say its very sheer and oxidises a bit after application so I'm hoping it will look alright.

And my bikini from ASOS will be here this week, it's already in Sydney as of tonight. Praying that the sizing fits me, I had a huge dilemma choosing since it was by bra sizes and I've never been able to find the perfect size for me, it really depends on the brand.

I need to learn to sleep earlier, last night I stayed up until about 2.15am deciding on eyeshadow palettes. I don't know why I'm deluding myself, I have little to no skills in applying makeup. But I just love playing with it still, mixing colours and seeing what abominations I create on my face.



Don't mind the harsh edges, and zero blending, this is how I never get to sleep before 1am. The weird shadows are (also) the product of my shocking late night contrast adjustments. I'm not wearing anything but eye makeup :|

Galaxy camera + android photo apps tests

Okay I haven't properly posted since I got my phone...my bad readers. In my defence, I have had a fair amount of work to catch up on ;D

Don't think ill of me, we all know I love taking photos...and I have nothing to share with you so enjoy these fire the time being. (Had to close my eyes because the LED flash was burning my retinas)

PPS. I cannot for the life of me understand why these photos upload in such low quality plus with a checkboard watermark? Very odd. Anyone care to explain?

Samsung galaxy preview and battle wound

Here is the preview of my phone, with its rilakkuma case. Don't judge, I like cute asian shit alright? I finally got it last tuesday. And the case came on friday. Actually im posting from it now, I would barely be capable of doing so unless it had the swype feature. Which to me is just the greatest innovation of all!

Also today, I almost fell twice whilst crossing the road, one of the times I managed to stabilise myself by flailing my arms, which led me to hit my hand on something and now I have 2 bleeding chunks taken out of my finger, how lovely.

Collective Haul & Fresh Prince *pic heavy post*

First off, today has kicked off to a most tiring start. Cleaned the fish tank, washed the dishes, cleaned my room (but I didn't do that great of a job ha).

Also I have a new obsession,  ebay, selling on ebay, browsing ebay, looking at ebay from a statistical point of view. Oh how I become fixated on these things, the last time I was truly taken by the ebay craze was in 2008.

Sorry these aren't the best photos, especially the second as I didn't have batteries for my SB600 so I had to use the pop up flash (I know I've become so snobbish when it comes to lighting). The second and third picture were all taken after about a week's wear and tear, hence the scraggly edges.


Collective Nail Polish Haul, so within a few months I've doubled the number of nail polishes I own.
Some of these I haven't even used yet, so I'll post up swatches and more in depth reviews when I do.









This is the Extreme III SD card and eneloop rechargeable batteries I bought for my camera/flash for the Oaktree gala last month. The batteries came in the 5th anniversary glitter pack, scoree, they are so pretty!
Albeit both were fairly expensive, total of $70ish.

Using a weekly planner Sophie got me year ago, unfortunately, but not to my surprise, I have been unable to keep up with my intended schedule.



Started watching the Fresh Prince from the very beginning and I am in looove. There have been tears in my eyes as I try to control my laughter at 3am. No idea why I didn't watch this earlier. I suppose I didn't have the series, and every time I watched it with Daniel, I was incredibly tired and hence did not stay awake long enough to enjoy it. But now I possess Daniel's external hard drive so that's just another distraction from study :P

Food Updates, Pizza, Father's Day + Dinner

In chronological order:

07/08/2011 - The night mum made me make pizza, one thing I'm not too bad at. Albeit my toppings are probably far from authentic but who cares if it tastes good.




Father's Day Brunch ft. Big Breakfast, Salmon Roll, Pear Pancakes. Those pancakes were the death of me, so sickly sweet that the aftermath lasted til 4pm.





Dinner with Daniel last week @ Margo's ft. a beef burger and chicken parma. <3
