A Day In The Mountains

Currently jenny's youtube is playing to the side of this window, okay I'm going to watch it first then continue this.

OKAY. Done. If Jenny reads this she'll be like what on earth but her videos are the best entertainment ever while informative, seriously.

Gemma and Rushani organised a day in the mountains for our friends because usually they have to travel quite a while to get to where we are. So for once we were the ones traveling for long periods of time while the were the ones that lived close by.

Began like this: I was dropped off at Box Hill, went down to the station Tracey soon came. Yes Tracey who has been on a fantastical 3 week holiday in Hawaiiiii. Then Elise popped out from god knows where but it scared the shit out of me LOL, then Pauline appeared.
Train came we got on the last carriage to find Sylvia, Gen and Jenny Han already on there.
Trained to Blackburn, had to bus to Mitcham, then train again to belgrave.
Never been so far on the train in my life. And we really did end up in the mountains, wowee.




Bussed to Miss Marples, but Gemma told us it was too busy.

Went to Flippin Pancakes instead (god I hope that's what it was called).

Had a 3 stack with ice cream.

It was bloody good but then it got really dry and plain when the ice cream was finished. Though still persevered and managed to finish :)
Somehow our meal lasted over an hour, could have been 2 for all I know.

Then once again bussed back, this time it was to Upper Ferntree Gully, we had the same bus driver this nice middle aged guy who came to tell us that this was a different bus to the one we got on coming here, just to let us know in case we thought we were taking the same one back down. How cute.

Picked up at Box Hill. Dad was outside the barriers LOL. Didn't expect to see him there.

Plowing through Hard Times now. I think I'm 200 pages in :)
